Norwex has been in the home party business since 1994. Founded in Norway by Bjørn Nicolaisen, the company has been built on the concept of improving the health of your home and our planet by radically reducing the home use of chemical cleaning products. Inspired by the cleaning power of microfiber cloths, Norwex has become a global business with locations in the United States, China, Australia, and more. Their success has been built by centering and investing in their consultants who conduct home parties and build regional teams. Their corporate philosophy is the core of their brand, empowering individuals to change the world for the better. This focus on legacy drives them to advocate for the environment, seek sustainable business practices (from manufacture to end products), and nurture both their consultants and customers.
While they began with the microfiber “little red cloth” that only required water to clean, they’ve since expanded their product lines into more cleaning supplies, bath and body care, products geared towards children, and more. In 2007, they leveled up their famous microfiber cloths with the addition of microsilver (which they call BacLock® technology for its self-purification properties). Norwex offers kitchen cleaning kits that include bottle brushes, a mop system, dishwashing liquids, cleaning paste, and so much more. They offer agents to clean produce, and cloths to polish fruits and veggies. They make fun microfiber bath towels and tools for kids, to help keep them interested in personal cleanliness and household chores. They make available a selection of lotions, creams, shower gels, deodorants, cleansers and the like that are all natural and organic without potentially toxic chemicals.
