Jennifer Bonacorsi started jBloom after realizing her passion for jewelry design. She started making custom jewelry for friends and family and soon switched to hosting parties to sell her jewelry. However, Jennifer didn't want to start another MLM jewelry company. Instead, she wanted to have a company where women could be creative and not just sell jewelry out of a catalog. jBloom was born out of a desire to bring creativity and success together.
The products offered by jBloom include necklaces, personalized items, bracelets, earrings, rings, charms, watches, and others. The company offers a wide variety of options and even has monthly specials. New catalogs are released two times a year with new content. The designers can choose to send the orders directly to the customer, individually bagged. Currently, jBloom only has about 1,200 designers located in the U.S. and they want to advocate for you to create your own personalized pieces for your customers.
jBloom features eleven color awareness ribbons to support different causes. The ribbons can be added with charms and are put on a stainless steel necklace. jBloom also donates $10 for each necklace sold to two charities. One of these charities is Basket of Hope, which provides assistance to newly diagnosed children and their families who are affected by cancer or other serious illness. The second charity is Kings Kids Village, which is a group-style Children's Home in Kenya. This organization provides quality education to 50 children in the hopes of breaking the cycle of poverty. With each $32 purchase, jBloom donates $10 to Kings Kids Villages and they aim to raise $10,000 this year.
Compensation: All designers receive a 40% commission on all sales, which includes all personal sales too. As with almost all MLMs, the more recruits you add underneath, the higher percentage you are able to earn on each new level that is added. You have the potential to earn 2-9% on all recruits that you add underneath you.
jBloom offers a fast start bonus to get you motivated right from the beginning. If you sell $1,200 worth of jewelry in the first 30 days of starting, you can earn $100 in credit to use towards more jewelry. That jewelry can be used as giveaways for promotions, selling as normal, or keep it for yourself!
Start-Up Costs: To get started, there are two different starter kits you can choose from. One costs $99 and has more than $320 worth of supplies and jewelry. The starter kit that costs $199 includes more than $775 worth of jewelry and marketing materials. There is also potential to earn your kit if you sell enough product at your first hosted party. Before you get started, you are connected with an established designer, but it is unclear if you are linked up with someone in your area or if it will be a virtual relationship.
Personal Website: You are required to have your own personalized website, which is free for the first month, then has a cost of $12.99 per month.
Quotas to Maintain Active Status: All jBloom Hosts must sell at least $250 in personal volume every three months to stay active. In order to keep your higher designer status, you must maintain your number of active recruits and submit a minimum amount of monthly personal volume.
Bonus Opportunities: You have the chance to earn points based on sales, recruiting, and promotions. These points can go towards a free trip, which this year was in Mexico. According to their website, the more recruits you add to your team in the first three months of the year, the better your chances are for bonus points. Based on the number of points you earned and the level of designer you are, you are able to have your hotel, airfare, and all expenses paid for. If you earn enough points, you can even invite a guest, free of charge! You are able to earn more points at the beginning of the year
jBloom is open to women of all ages located throughout the United States. jBloom is adding 120 designers every month. The company wants to create a sisterhood of women that allows them to showcase their creativity while being able to work from home.
