AtHome specializes in trendy, affordable home décor direct sales. Their product line includes throws, rugs, wall art, florals, clocks, and kitchen and bath décor. The price is right for most party-goers, as the majority of AtHome products are priced under $40.
The company was founded in 1983, but was sold and underwent a little restructuring in late 2012. The below information has been updated to reflect those changes and what you can currently expect as an AtHome representative.
Compensation: Base commission is 25% on core items. Items featured in the flash sales earn at 10% of the purchase price.
Start-Up Costs: AtHome has moved away from home parties and into the online social selling arena. Similar to Kitsy Lane, the company will provide you with a website where your sales will take place. This website is integrated with popular social networking platforms for easy promotion.

Personal Website: The AtHome business model is centered around online sales. Therefore, a personal website is provided by the company at no charge. At some point in 2013, a website maintenance fee of $20 per month will be assessed for those not selling at least $100 in product per month. If you are meeting the requirements, the fee is waived and you can operate your online business free of charge.
Quotas to Maintain Active Status: There are no sales quotas to remain Active. However, if a rep does not sell $100 per month a $20 website maintenance fee will be assessed as discussed previously.
